About the programme
The PhD in Architecture at UCSI University is a research-driven program for those seeking to engage architecture as a critical and forward-looking discipline. It provides a platform for candidates to develop original research while crafting their own philosophy of architecture, grounded in theory, context, and emerging challenges.
The program encourages research that not only addresses current architectural issues but also anticipates future industry developments, including shifts in technology, sustainability, culture, and societal needs. Through close supervision and independent inquiry, candidates develop intellectual rigor, critical thinking, and scholarly confidence.
