Master of Information Systems (MIS) programme at UTAR is the study of people, technology and organizations. In this programme, we train professionals on how to manage various information systems to best serve the needs of managers, staff and clients in the corporate world. Entry requirements
| Academic Requirement |

| (1) A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) in Computing or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR |
| (2) A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) in Computing or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 can be accepted subject to a thorough rigorous internal assessment; OR |
| (3) A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-Computing field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 can be accepted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment to identify the appropriate prerequisite courses that equivalent to their working experience in computing or related fields; OR |
| (4) A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-Computing field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 can be accepted subject to appropriate prerequisite courses; OR |
| (5) Other qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) in Computing or related fields recognized by the Government of Malaysia must fulfill the requirement on item (1) or (2). |
