Master of Science in Real Estate Development

The Master of Science in Real Estate Development is a multidisciplinary programme that equips students with the necessary framework of knowledge and skills in real estate development. This programme aims to enhance the student's capability in solving complex real estate issues in the industry through a practical, industry-aligned curriculum. The holders of a Master of Science in Real Estate Development with working experience can enjoy a better chance to occupy senior management positions in the real estate development industry.

Minimum Entry Requirements

- A Bachelor's degree in Built Environment such as Architecture, Building, Construction Management, Property Management, Estate Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building Technology Management or other related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent as accepted by the Senate; OR

- A Bachelor's degree in Built Environment such as Architecture, Building, Construction Management, Property Management, Estate Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building Technology Management or other related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment.

Candidates without a qualification or working experience in Built Environment such as Architecture, Building, Construction Management, Property Management, Estate Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building Technology Management or other related field must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses and meet the minimum CGPA based on the above.

English Language Requirements

1) Malaysian Students

MUET Band 3.5 or IELTS Band 5.0 or CEFR High B1 or TOEFL iBT 40 or its equivalent; OR

Exemption of English Language requirement if the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English

2) International Students

IELTS Band 5.0 or CEFR High B1 or TOEFL iBT 40 equivalent; OR

Exemption of English Language requirement if the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English
