Postgraduate Diploma in Education

The Postgraduate Diploma in Education is a programme which aims to create a training platform for graduates to be trained in the relevant areas of education and cultivate their skills as educators of the New Academia to guide students of the 21st century towards outstanding achievements in their respective fields of expertise.

Minimum Entry Requirements

- A Bachelor's degree (Level 6, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or its equivalent as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR

- A Bachelor's degree (Level 6, MQF), with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 AND at least two (2) years working experience in education- related fields; OR

- Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government as equivalent to the above.

English Language Requirements

1) Malaysian Students

- MUET Band 3.5/ IELTS Band 5.0/ CEFR High B1/ TOEFL iBT 40/ equivalent; OR a Pass in TAR UMT's English Proficiency Test

- Exemption of English Language requirement if the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was the English Language

2) International Students

- Achieve (MUET) or any English competency test equivalent to a Low B1 Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR); OR

- Exemption of English Language requirement if the medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was the English Language
